NTUeater is a community for food lovers, established by students in National Taiwan University (NTU). In this video, I want to present 3 features of the community: energetic, joyful, and informative.

To convey that "eating food makes people full of energy", I create the process of inputting energy into food in a factory. Besides, I use scenes like dialogs and picnic to visualize the joy of sharing food with friends, and elements like map and pop-up windows to express that "you can find many useful information about delicious food here".

Jellyfish

"If you were a cloud in the sky, I would be a jellyfish looking up at you."

The story is about a jellyfish having a crush on a cloud. All it can do is just look up the sky, even it seems like the cloud has never noticed it. Every unrequited love is just like the jellyfish. Through the film, I want to illustrate the bitter of one-sided love. And through the jellyfish moving on in the end, I hope to heal those broken hearts, encouraging them to keep going on.

I took my internship in Innovation Open House (IOH), a Taiwanese social enterprise devoting to helping people find their life direction by sharing stories, which convinced me that stories can truly bring courage. The experience inspires me to create this platform allowing people to exchange their stories.

When people enter this website, they first choose “Find Story” or “Write Story”. If they want to share their experiences, they can click “Write Story” and share them via various types of media (such as articles, videos, audios…etc). Or, If they want to find some stories, they have to write down their dream first. Then, according to their aspirations, the web will recommend five stories for them. Through information sharing, I want to stimulate people to find their calling and dare to dream.

It is an animation about the process of a girl finding where she belongs. In the process, she is pursuing, missing, falling, and growing. After everything she had encountered, she realized that only home is always being the place where she belongs.

My Days Make Up Me

With a burning desire to drawing everything in my life, I started a comic blog at 2010 to record all my doodle diary. Some are daily, some are interesting, and some are touching. All of them become an important part of me.

In this work, I use bubble tea to represent myself and compare my days to the ingredients of bubble tea. The drawings on the cups in the background all come from my comic blog. I want to express that just like the ingredients make up the bubble tea, all of my days make me who I am.

Chinese Characters - Character Design

Taiwan is one of the few places left that still use Traditional Chinese. Each character has its meaning and distinctive beauty.

In this project, I create 5 girls to represent 5 distinct Chinese Characters: 愛(love), 勇(brave), 義(justice), 善(kind), and 美(beauty). According to their appearances and meanings, I want to create their unique personifications with vivid personality, displaying the beauty of Chinese Characters.

Peter Pan And Wendy

Peter Pan is one of my favorite fairy tales. In the story, Peter Pan and Wendy had fantastic adventures in Neverland, interacting with fairies, pirates, mermaids, and Native Americans. For Wendy, everything in Neverland is so mysterious and amazing, just like Peter Pan. However, unlike Peter Pan who never grows up, Wendy is an ordinary child. She couldn’t stay here forever.

In this work, I want to illustrate the bittersweet between Peter Pan and Wendy. After leaving Neverland, could Wendy forget Peter Pan? Would Peter Pan remember Wendy? Would those memories in Neverland still be there?

Temples are one of the important cultures in Taiwan. Each temple has its distinctive feature, such as the magnificent architecture, gaudy statues, and psychedelic imagery. Through illustrating the top 10 beautiful and distinctive temples in Taiwan, I want to exhibit the full glory of temples to more people in the world.
